Privacy

Short version: we store the minimum needed to run your draw, we never sell it, we never send marketing, and we delete it after the season.

What we store

For each draw: the group name, budget, gift date and note; each person's name and (optional) email address; who drew whom; and the wishlist items and sizes each person adds. We don't use accounts or passwords.

Why

Only to run the draw: to send each person their private link and show them their match and wishlists. The organiser gives us participants' details and confirms they're happy for them to be used this way (legal basis: legitimate interest in running the gift exchange they've joined).

Who we share it with

Our hosting provider (Netlify) and our email provider (Resend), only to run the service. When you click an Amazon or other shop link you leave our site, and that shop's privacy policy applies. Amazon may set cookies to credit us with a commission.

How long

Draws are deleted 60 days after their gift day (or 90 days after creation if no date was set). Email hello@secretkringle.com to have a draw or your details deleted sooner.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data. Email hello@secretkringle.com. You can also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).

Cookies

We don't use tracking or advertising cookies. We store your chosen country in your browser so the right Amazon store opens.
